EEE Network’s focus is on needs, good practice and cooperation in environmental science and education, environmental policy and management, sustainable use of natural resources for industrial production and the well being of people and society.  

EEE Network offers a forum for experts and practitioners to meet each others, to discuss and exchange information and ideas and to make new research known, and to disseminate new approaches and best practices within its fields of expertise. Symposia and conferences, organised by the EEE Network are highly regarded events for all environmental professionals.  

New solutions in the environmental field are based on the intensive research. It is of utmost importance to transfer the knowledge from research to practice without delay. Continuing education and training courses, and the development of new training techniques and materials, are the main assets of the EEE Network in this important task. 

Exchange programmes for students, researchers, educators and staff members in the enterprises improve international and national understanding of environmental problems and their solutions. Cooperation at all levels is essential if we want to progress towards sustainable future. 

The annual meeting of the network takes place usually in connection with the annual ENTREE conference in November. It is usually organised as an open meeting for members and other stakeholders.
